Testimonies Wanted

If you are a follower of Christ who has overcome a battle with depression, anxiety, coping with mental illness, or something similar, please consider contacting me and we’ll post your testimony here. We’re not looking for “he healed me from depression” kinds of testimonies, but more the spiritual healing testimonies where the struggle helped you see something in your heart: an attitude, fear of man, concern over your performance, etc. that improved your understanding of the power of the gospel and your relationship to God through Jesus Christ. Online Devotion on Anxiety Started

If you want to work through it with us, a few folks here have started going through a devotion written by Edward Welch called “Running Scared: Fear, Worry, and the God of Rest”. Buy the book or download the Kindle version and come on with us.

The post is up to chapter 11, and chapter 12 is coming up soon. This book is amazing, and gets better with every chapter. It’s not too late to join in, but take it seriously. This is a book that could make a big difference.
